1 Year update

I have now had my maxima for 1 year and 1 month with now 31,714 miles on it. I have to say i have not had 1 damn problem with it. It's been perfect ever since the day i bought it. I still love driving it, looking at it, and working in it. Nissan defenitly gets an A+ in my book for this car.

(just thought i would make a post cause i love my damn car)

We must have bought cars around the same time -- I got mine the last week of February of last year. I've got about 36,000 km's -- NO major problems other than still trying to get a cpl tsb's done. By far the best car I've owned. Money well spent.

I took delivery of my Maxima on Jan. 3rd of 2001 with 36 miles on it. I currently have app. 10300 miles on it and have had no problems with it. Contrary what most of you have posted here, I have had very good dealer service so far. My previous car was a 91 max SE with just over 100k miles. No problems with it, either.

Just goes to show that it's a not a good idea to purchase a car in the first year of its production.

Actually, I don't have much to complain about now. But detonation resulting from leaky coils, lurching in first gear due to the fuel-cut problem, getting my rear bumper painted TWICE because of bumper scratches, and having a popcorn popper for an interior definitely taught me a lesson.

PS: I've had my car for over two years and I have 21K on the odometer.

Nothing. It's covered under a Technical Service Bulletin. The Bulletin Number is NTB00-055.
