what clear tails are legal in CA
From what I have been told, CA law does not allow any type of clear light covers on the car unless they came stock on the car. (Like the turn signals on most new cars today) I haven't actually looked into this law, but that is what I have heard.
BTW any know the tinting law on the front windows? I know it was changed about a year ago, but I don't know to what level you are allowed to tint it. . .

wow an ISE...
i didn't know u get those here... haha double post.. i think the tint law was 75% that's what the tint shop told me.. "the 75% tint in the front is legal" i believe it.. u can barely see a 75% tint. i got pulled over for 35% tint.. i'm in kali.. but what the cop told me made sense why tinting the front should be illegal. he said it's not the visablity issue it's visual comfirmation..
lets say if you were crossing the street. a car is stopped at a red wanting to make a right. the driver see's u stop thinkin' u're gonna let him go. but then u don't see his face, or u don't see him looking at u. so maybe he didn't even check his blind spot. then he'll just run u over. i dont' know if i put it in the right words.. but more or less. i still would rather have my front windows remain tinted.. (it's not anymore)

according to CVC(california vehicle code)
the only type of tint allowed on front windows are removeable and must have doctors permission.
Clear talights, they look tacky plus make people rear end you.
