I bet it is something you can't really feel, if indeed someone has done the test. It may be that Amsoil will take longer to break down, if the specs are better than Redline. I wonder what the cost difference is?
I went from reline to nissan fluid back to redline (mt-90) when I did my quaife.
I definitely noticed a difference and I'm skeptical when it comes to stuff like that (like adding 2hp and saying the butt dyno feels it,muahhahahahahaha)

Even with redline, I still have trouble slipping it into first. I often have to double clutch... Sometimes I really have to leverage it in, unlike the other gears. Well... maybe Reverse is sometimes that notchy too.

The easiest gears are the middle ones though 3-4.-hype
