for my brother, any known problems w/ 4th gen
Lets see:
Manual transmissions may have tendency to eat bearings (expensive fix)
Paint of lousy quality
Interior parts have tendency to rattle
Oil Pressure sending unit leaky (no big deal)
Apparently some earlier 4th gens experienced bad starters
Oh yea, and 95-96s were really bad in IIHS low and high speed crashes (www.iihs.org)
Resale value really sux
Make sure to test drive car over bumpy road as rear beam axle isnt that great
