Finally received my package!!!

I just received my package from Amsoil:

I messed up and ordered only one oil filter. I'm going ahead with the engine flush using a Purolator Pure One filter and install the Amsoil filter when I fill the crankcase with the Amsoil Synthetic.

What RPMs should I hold the engine during the flushing process?

I held mine at around 1500. I was amazed at how much crap came out.

Thanks. I'm going to flush out my engine later today. First I'm going to prep the intake system before I install the amsoil air filter. Based on my oil analysis the current air filter I'm using now (Purolator) is not up to par. Its supposedly better than K&N's drop-in filter, based on their online literature. I'm going to run this All-Amsoil setup for 5000 miles and submit another oil analysis. Hopefully I'll receive sterling results.

I've done that before and was amazed at the value in information you learn about how much protection your oil is giving even after 48,000 miles and NO oil change...just filter changes and top - offs

I just finished installing my Amsoil air filter and performed the engine flush.

The quality of the Amsoil "Two Stage" air filter is subpar. A chunk of the sealing gasket at the corner was missing, and the filter element itself looked like it was carelessly glued to the sealing gasket . I didn't look like it would cause sealing/filtering problems, so I went ahead and installed it into the airbox.

I installed a new Purolator PureOne filter and poured the Amsoil engine flush into the engine. I ran it for 20 minutes @1500rpm.
I proceeded to drain the engine. To my suprise the oil looked very similar to a "regular" oil change drain- nothing out of the ordinary- except the oil poured out like water. I hope I didn't waste money on snake oil.

I installed the tiny Amsoil oil filter and poured in the Amsoil synthetic oil and drove close to 100 mi. I don't know if its all in my head, but my already smooth motor felt a bit more "zingy" than before (previous oil was Mobil Drive Clean Blend 5w30)! Only time will tell if the above was worth the $$$.
