I don't think so. But you can test drive a 2k2 from a Nissan dealership. The car rental company Budget rents Maximas' as their "Sport Sedan". So rent one from them if you really want one for a day or two. But it could be a 2k-2k2 Maxima. So make sure before you sign the rental agreement.

Thats what I want to do but I'm gonna get stuck paying $300 for an SUV limo. Probably the biggest waste of money of my life.

I rented a '02 SE at Enterprise. They have them, you just have to find one that is available.

BTW, $300 won't be the biggest waste of money in your life. Wait until you get engaged

The Enterprise in local Northern Va here just got two SEs the other day, I rented the white 2k2 they had, talk about bad torque steer

It is really the luck of the draw, however the guy here said that you could reserve the max, I am not sure if he was right

I was gonna say about the age requirements. I thought it had to be 21 unless you join the Army ect... and/or are in the National Guard. I wanted to rent a Boxter for prom, but it looks like I'm taking the max, clayed, 3 coats of polish/glaze/sealer, and a nice coat of wax

Oh yeah, and my GF

I wanted to take my Max to prom. I argued I had the tinted windows and the leather seats so it wasn't much different than a limo but it's a rule that everyone has to waste money on a limo I guess.

It's not $1000 for the viper. Rent for one day would be around $300 plus milage. Have you dad rent it in his name and you can pay for it. Just don't do anything stupid like wrap it around a pole or even think about racing someone on the streets if your dad signs for it.
