SE Shocks at 70K miles
SE Shocks at 70K miles
My '98 SE has been driven under normal use and has not hauled any heavy objects other than people. The ride is still good.
I would like to know what condition my shocks are in right now at 70,000 miles since this is the current reading on my odometer. Advice?

They are probably ok for normal driving. But, if you like to do any sort of "sprirted" driving, I'd look into replacing them. Even if you dont get performance springs, some performance oriented dampers can make a big difference in handling.

If you still like the ride as you say, why replace them? Wait till there's a problem or you want something stiffer...
H&R's and AGX's going in mine this week...
