LSD on 4th gens w/ cold weather package?
LSD on 4th gens w/ cold weather package?
I was just reading the discription for that ebay auction for the I30 tranny (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1818184405) and in the description it says if you have the winter package on a maxima, then you have a limeted slip differential. Is this true? (I have the cold weather package...)

No that guy is misinformed. The ONLY stock LSD available in a USA destined maxima chassis is the Infiniti I30T. My car is a fully loaded 97 SE with cold weather package and it DID NOT have any sort of LSD (until I put the Quaife diff. in) Some of the Canadian maxima's have LSD, designated by a "V" in the tranny designation. So yes, a LSD tranny is VERY rare.
