My emissions sensor light came on recently, and the engine has been really sluggish and not the best for gas mileage. I've taken it in and they're telling me that 4 of my fuel injectors are bad and I'll need to have them replaced. 1st, how much should this run me (reasonably) and is this problem related to my rough idle- which i've had for quite awhile?

Another thing: anyone else live in an area where ethanol is pretty much at every gas station? I'm in Iowa and when I was shopping around for my Max i saw another guy who had a 92 max who said that ethanol ruined his fuel injectors, and I'm wondering if the same thing happened to me... Thx in advance

 

Have you pulled the codes from the ECU yourself? Do that and see what you come up with before you pay for work that may not need to be done.

I dunno, 4 bad injectors just sounds suspect to me...

 

Search for RC engineering on the net and give them a call. Ask them if Ethanahol will ruin Nissan injectors.
