Get No Bass when playing CDs (Radio OK)

Just installed a JVC KD SH 707 - I kept the stock bose speakers/amps.

This HU has RCA outs for subs.

When playing a CD, my subwoofers dont turn on at all

only the 4 inside speakers work.

When the radio is on, the Subs work just fine !

I used a interface adapter to integrate the new HU with the bose

speakers - I don't think this would cause this issue.

Is there a wire which I should be hooking up, maybe I missed it ??

Any ideas ??

thanks

It sounds like you hooked up the antennae turn on to the sub turn on lead. So the amp only turns on when the antennae goes up. I did this once a long time ago.

yep...

I T-tapped the light blue REM wire from the AMP (remote?)

to the blue ant turn on. Why? Because that's how my last HU was

hooked up and the t-tap was already there for me It used to work fine...

So, where should I connect this light blue AMP Turn on wire ?

One of the speaker wires ? power ? ground ?

thanks

The HU should have a remote turn on lead. Most often it is blue, but not always. Should be easy to find.
