Dear Lord thats dirty
Dear Lord thats dirty
Just removed my TB to try and do a little more cleaning on the back side of it and DEAR LORD after 100k my uperIM looks like Crap. found Large pieces of carb build up growing off the walls. Was able to clean in there a little but My next project will be to completly remove the UIM to clean it.Car also seems to run a little better now after the small amount of cleaning I did. MY question is, is there a place on the rear bank for a breather filter like there is on front crankcase ? I want to know if ther is any thing else I can do to help keep my intake system clean? (did a search) crap late for class I will be back later!

? that are clogged
That's an org secret
Other symptoms of a clogged catalytic would include decreased performance and bad gas mileage.
You can check main catalytic by taking it down and 'looking' through the catalytic converter itself. I'm not sure of about the precats, though.
There are other ways... go look at a Haynes manual of FSM.

I dont think there is neccesarily an additive or anything to clean the cat, however it is filter like... maybe you can spray something into the filter to break up the grime? How many miles on your car?
