How is the rear roof spoiler attached to the car?
my spoiler is a little loose and the vertical support can lifted slightly. It looks like there is a bolt (or something) in the opening. My guess is to take off the inner inside trunk panel and you'll probably have your answer. It must be bolted on.

No, the rear roof spoiler is held on by:
1) The good will of people who decide not to rip it off of your car
and
2) The serendipitous good fortune of people who actually *want* such a thing for their car, and are willing to take one, but who haven't seen yours.
Just a thought: anything that does not at the very least bolt on to your car is subject to a very short life as part of your exterior. Take every emblem on my car for example... oh wait, someone already did.

Edit: spelling
