OUT--> GC Coilovers, IN--> Sprint Springs...Satisfaction--> 100%...

Well, after only two weeks with the Ground Control Coilovers, I switched them out for Sprint Springs today, and I can honestly say that I'm 100% satisfied with the Sprints, and I'm much happier now than I was with the Coilovers.

You may remember me posting a thread a while back about the noise and horrible ride I was having with my GCs, but that's not the whole reason I decided to get rid of them. First of all, the noise went away. I also really got used to the ride...and realized that for the drop I had, I had to suffer the harsh ride.

I thought hard about it and decided that I really didn't need the adjustability. Another factor was that the GCs were almost $200 more than the Sprints, and I could use that money elsewhere.

Anyways, I love the Sprint/AGX Setup. The AGXs are currently on 2/4, and the ride is perfect. It absorbs bumps pretty well, but you can feel them. I also have no noise at all. I'm 100% satisfied.

So, if anyone is looking for GC Coilovers, check the FS Forum.

Later,
-Nick

yea
i'm really giving credit to Sprint Springs.... "190hpKilla"s car rides very nicely, with AGXs and Sprints
drop is also sweet... looks too low for clearence sometimes, but when you come up close, there is plenty of room

Another satisfied Sprint customer...
Let's face it, it's the best drop without a huge sacrifice in ride quality. But after time, the bumps will get to you Nick...

The only negative is the back sits so high, but I kinda like it that way I guess. Anyways, I'll be posting pics as soon as we get some nice weather so I can wash my car.

Gettin my springs

I'm pumped you guys are saying such good things about the Sprints - I just ordered mine up on Friday so they should be here this week. Too bad they're going to have to wait to go on until I get the rest of the money to get the KYB AGXs.

Nick 97 - When you say you have them set to 2/4, is that front/back settings?

How many of you guys have the camber kit or bought all the other hardware for your suspension that has been discussed on this board?

Peace

I didn't need camber bolts w/ my sprints. I have the bolts sitting next to my computer. I cut a coil out of the rear springs to make the car even. I like the look of the car better like this.

Install

So really how hard is the install do to by yourself..I dont think I would be able to do it..I have a floor jack, jack stands and I could rent a spring compressor..>Did you change anything when you were in there ?? Did you use the AGX bearings or did you use the existing bearings ??
Nick maybe if you live In NJ you could help me out with my Eibach/AGX install in the beginning of May..I can come to your house and chill...I really need an experinaced hand and you sound like you know what your doing since you did it twice already...

Yes...2 in the front, 4 in the rear (Sorry for not clarifying).

I don't have any camber bolts or kit, but I didn't get an alignment done yet either. I'll probably get that done this weekend. We'll see what happens.

Sorry Matty, I was going to reply to this earlier, but I got a server busy message and then had to leave. Anyways, it's not hard at all to install by yourself. I used my neighbors body shop garage, so I had jack stands, a spring compressor, jacks, and air tools! Install was pretty simple, basically just taking it out and putting it back in. I don't know what bearings you are talking about, so I guess I just used the existing bearings.

I'm in NJ, and maybe I could help you out. I'm usually pretty busy with work and stuff, but we'll see what happens. I gotta see if my neighbor will let me use his shop again.

At first the back back was really high and then it got better. Just drive with full tank of gas and the drop is allmost even.
