rear passenger window is acting up help please?

ok, at the end of last summer i had the window motor (or regulator) replaced on the rear passenger window of my car. well lately the window has been acting up. everyonce in a awhile it wont work at all and neither will the door lock on it. its like the power gets cut off from the whole door somehow. any ideas? i was going to take it back to the dealer but the warranty was 12 monthes or 12 thousand miles and ive gone almost 14k. thanks!

i dont think i can help you much. go to a local shop and just ask them what they think is wrong. they wont charge you.

but be patient. you'll get an answer from someone here. dont worry.

On my 95 taurus, I had same problem...replaced the more and harness assembly...what they did not fix was the leaky seal in my door that was allowing water to get in!

So I would look for gaps in seals and such....
