Hey,
i have giovanna corsica 17s silver finish. the lip of the rim is polished with a clearcoat on it. it appears that something got into the clearcoat of the lip (approx 3/4 inch of the lip is affected).

Do any of you guys have any suggestion on what to do to fix this problem?

also do you guys think i should use meguiars paste wax to wax my rims to protect them?

I cant stand looking at that 3/4 in mess on my rim. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There isn't much you can do. The clear coat is peeling from within. It's only going to get worst. Only thing you can do is getting it refinish.
