It's responsible for at least a few broken Maxima transmissions.
Don't buy it unless you really really need that much torque capacity. It holds like crazy but has absolutely NO give...you're either engaged or not. Not at ALL a street-friendly clutch and it kills your transmission because it's so harsh.
The ACT heavy duty street kit (HDMM), which is pretty much just a beefed up version of the stock clutch, should have MORE than enough torque capacity for your Maxima...it's good for a 40% more torque over stock. I and many others here have that kit and loooove it. Very nice progressive clutch that holds EXTREMELY well on even S/C'd and nitrous'd cars.
