i live in cedar rapids ia and there are very few places that tint windows here in town. A local shop will do all window but the in shield for like 250-300 buck is this a good proce for a 5% and life time gaurentee? does any body know any places close to bee for cheeper? what did u guys pay?

You are getting ripped off, I pay $150 for any tint , with a lifetime gurantee. This is no bull**** tint job, pro job. When they are finished the entire car , there is no joins at the rear windsheild , you could not even tell there is tint on the car(looks like it came factory tinted).
But this info sucks , cause u are not in NYC!

Here in Dominican Republic the tint cost like the equivalent of
50$usa
in some papers that dont have the metalic look the cost like 25 bucks only!!!
Here the labor its really cheap!!!

I payed 210 for mirror tint in my old daytona! It had a liftime guarantee, might cost more for a max though.

 

I paid $260 with the window strip. plus it is one piece on rear windshield. If you know they do the best then it worth it to pay for the best. The guy that did mine owns and runs the shop himself and loves tinting windows. Its a 2 month wait for him.

 

i payed 100 for all my windows, 5% rears, 35% fronts, and 45 to a different place to do 20% on my back window.

 

I paid about $170 for 30% titanium on the windows and 20% titanium on the back window with lifetime warranty. I also have a plan that if any of my windows break they will retint the window at no additional cost. $300 for tint is outrageous around here, i don't know how much prices should be where you are.

 

na dude, you're getting ripped off, i paid $175 for all my windows plus a windshield banner tint... shop around a lil more

 

He is not getting ripped off if it is for great quility. I would pay $260 anyday for the quility I recieved. Plus it all depends on location I could not find any cheap than $150 near me. My freind went to a cheap place and It was not to the edge of the windows and the rear was Fup with 2 piece tint going against the defroster line pattern.

 

I feel you on the altezza thing bro...

 

I can get it done for $150 and like $200 for platinum tints (not cheap mirror).
