Brand New 02 Se Fully Loaded

I just traded my 01 se in for an 02 6spd. I got everything on it. Leather, Navigation, HLSD, Meridian. Colors are black on frost. This is my first MT car, anyone got some tips on shifting. Right now I am just good enough to get from one place to the other. I will also have pics soon for everyone to look at.

thats nice, learning on a brand new car j/k...ride the clutch so that it goes bad and then you can change it,,,can you say MOD??

i taught my g/f to drive a stick in under an hour. as long as you have the patience and can caliborate the accelerator and gas pedals,,you will be fine. you should invest in a shift light. not only will it look cool, but will let you know when to shift,,,but ignore it when you are trying to spank a bimmer in a race,,,,,,,

When you are about to take off from a stop, just let out the clutch slowly. When you feel the car start to want to move, give it some gas. If you don't give it enough gas, and it seems like it is about to stall, push in the clutch and give it a little more gas the next try. After you have it moving, you don't need to work the clutch slowly when changing gears. Ex: 3rd to 4th Hope this helps. Have fun!
