Newbie question about installing KYB AGX shocks

I'm going to attempt to install (with the help of friends) my H&R Spings and KYB shocks tomorrow. First, how difficult time consuming will this install be with two people? Secondly, I understand that they are adjustable, and I have found the 8 point adjustment **** on the rear shocks, but how are the fronts adjustable?

I'm having a friend do it, because he is knowledgable and has had experience. I wouldn't attempt this without someone there who has had this experience. When it comes to installing springs, a good coil compressor is needed, as well as the proper technique.

The front AGXs are adjustable at the tip of the damper shaft. There is a small black **** that is turned (with the provided screwdriver). The settings are from 1 to 4.

Yep that's it. Two of you shouldn't take long. I did mine by myself and a little help from my brother. Just make sure you machine the spindle off for the nut to catch on the strut spindle , also make sure that the it spins freely before you install, meaning the uppper strut unit spinning free . one of mine was tight and i had to reinstall and the result from taht was a knocking when i turned my steering wheel, but it's all good now. i have no probs and it works fine. good luck..

are there any how-to's on installing kybs. I don't know much about it. the shops here in boulder wanted to charge me $600, and I was like **** that, that's more than I paid to buy the things, so now I gotta do it myself. any help would be great.

My Dad knows a guy at a local shop that did all four for me for $125.00. Took about three hours total.

that's a good deal, I would go for it and just tag along to learn how to install it.

It took me about 8 hours total over the weekend to do mine. I did it by myself and really didn't know what I was doing. Great results though and I saved myself mechanics fees.
