Under Drive Pulleys do they cause Battery to die?
whoever told you that was cutting out about 90% of the information..
the UDP "makes" more power for the engine by turning the accessories (alternator) slower.. this causes the alternator to produce less output at idle..
when you are actually driving the car around, the alternator will still make more than enough power to supply the car's power and charge the battery.
your battery will only die if you let the car sit at idle and run a high powered stereo or anything that sucks a lot of power..
all you gotta do is keep the RPM up on the engine and it'll be fine.
