Jst got home five minutes ago and spotted a Coke-Bottle Green colored Max. It was a brand new SE, had splash guards and 2K2 Tails. It had brand bew Bankston Nissan dealer tags on it. Is Nissan dropping their guard and selling such nasty colors on their flagship? I hope that it retuns to basics and doesn't go out of its way to start focusing on trendsetting(hop not) ghetto colors on the mext generation Max. Anybody have any info, I assume it is a 2K3? Went to their website and that color is not listed as an option for 2K2.

 

It was prolly Tungsten blue, kind of a Turquoise color. It's a 2k2 color.

 

Seen many Tungsten Blue color cars. Definitely not that color. I swear to you it was a Green, much like the Coca-Cola bottles of the 70's. Tungsten blue is darn elegant, really clean looking. This green something that can be easily confused with aftermarket. However, I spotted dealer(cardboard tags). I'll probably call the dealership in a couple of minutes to find out if it's a 2k3.

 

that's a 2002 maxima alright. i also saw that color at the dealer on stevens creek couple of weeks ago. sort of light, mercedes-window-color green.

i thought i saw that too when i was buying my 02 se last week at stevens creek...but they tried to trick me saying my payment would be 595 at 3.9 financing on 31k...hahaha...i go u sure thats the right payment...and hes like yeah...i told him to double check...he went back and double checked...then i pulled out my financing calculator...and hahaha...sweat sweat sweat....then i got ****ed and left the dealership...went to capitol nissan and bought my car

 

If this is the color, that I think it is, Ive only seen one and some old Grandma was driving it. They should save these colors for BUICKS !

 

My thoughts exactly. I mean, green like a coke bottle, why, why,why? I'm not a big fan of Majestic Blue, but its sweet(especially with the Frost leather interior. Black(too sweet, don't even ask why). Silver(well it's not really silver), an absolute clssic. Sunlit Sand(that's what I drive, yes I luv it). Maroon(see it up close, it rocks). Tungsten Blue(damn elegant). My point is that most colors really make sesnse(especially for a $30K car). Anyway, I personally thought the color choice sucked. Seems like you guys are with me on that.

Could Alty colors be crossing over to the Max? I know what he may be talking about. The color is Seascape on the Altima and the color does resemble a coke bottle.

I think you're right on the $$$. The reasons why I tought that is could be a 2K3 is because it had the tails, mudguards, brand new dealer tags.
To the other member that inquired about the coke bottle comparison. When I was growing up in this country, coke bottles were returnable, they had a greenish hue to them. They were supposed to be clear and show the color of the liquid, however you primarily saw a greenish tint. If you grew up in the 80's you may have not seen then b4.
