I Need some audio advice...
I Need some audio advice...
I have the midlevel CD/Cassette system and thinking about upgrading, here's 2 possibilities I came up w/
1) Upgrading the speakers while keeping everything else stock
2) Buying someone's Bose components (HU, speakers, amp)
For the 1st scenario, I was thinking of getting the Infinity Kappa speakers, should I get the 3-ways up front and the 2-ways in the rear deck or just go 2-way throughout? Also will I get better sound out of the stock midlevel HU after upgrading the speakers?
2nd scenario consists of buying someone else's Bose components (HU, Speakers, Amp, etc...) for $300 and last yr I drove my sister's '97 SE for a while before she got rid of it, she had the Bose system and I liked how it sounded a whole lot, and 2 of my friends have Bose systems in thier '02 Escalade and '99 I-30 and along w/ my sister's former '97 SE, those systems can sure crank.
The big ? is what should I get? Just the new speakers or the Bose system that I found for sale? Suggestions are always welcomed!
