I currently have or had a 2002 GLE(auto) and if it is considered a total loss, which most likely it will, I will be sticking with the Maximas and hopefully getting a 6spd. 2k2 Majestic Blue or Gray Lustre, and I am interested in knowing the top speed of each gear, so I can compare to other cars and start thinking who I am going to smoke and in what gear I will be able to do it in.

 

1st gear goes up to right around 40 MPH but that is all i can remember. i dont have my car right now as it is in the shop so i cant test anything for you. however, i thought i'd put in the little bit of info that i have.

 

i could be a little off. so its better to just forget that i said anything.

by the way...what happened with the GLE?

 

I had it parked on the street and apparently a drunk truck driver went up a one way and to avoid a car coming down the street went straight into my car...head on.

yup thats always good, just hope u had insurace, thats kinda how i scored my max, except it was a semi that backedup, and crunched up my pain in the neck third gen, just took the payoff, added to it, and got me one big downpayment less then two weeks after that incident.
