30,000 miles and still content

I took my car in for 30,000 mile service yesterday to my local dealer. When they asked if I had any problems, I had to say no. Furthermore, my brakes are still good and the original Toyo tires have plenty of tread remaining.

Of course at my age, I don't drive the car very hard. My sense is that some of you who are having problems with your Max may be contributing to the difficulties by your driving habits. I believe the Maxima is a well-built car, but it can become troublesome when driven beyond its design capabilities.

I Agree I have had no problems with mine either but I only have 10,000+ miles.

I'll be hitting the vaunted 36K mile mark this week on my 2K. Still loving mine.

Well I am very hard on my Max

and at 40K I have only had to have the rotors turned and I just replaced the tires. So I think it can handle the abuse.

45k and happy!

As with any new car, it takes a while to get out all of the kinks. I've done Fuel-cut TSB, Wind-Noise TSB, Brake Judder TSB (and now out of warranty have replaced fromt OEM rotors/pads with Stillen).

The car is now perfect!

When I took in for 30K service, the problem I had were front brake pads, worn down to 20%. That's pretty much about it.

49,000 miles and extremely happy!!! I still can not think of a better car for the $ (maybe the new G35). I don't think the Germans have anything on Japanese cars. My Maxima is much nicer to me than my friends 5 series. I just hate front wheel drive, time to test drive the G35!!!
