I need help......screwed my bumber up

I backed into a rock last night and I have two large scratches on the bottom side of my rear bumper. I looks like someone took a cheese grader to the bumper. I think that it is too messed up to cover with touch up paint. Any suggestions on how to fix this??

i did too. the momentum from reverse made me lightly nudge a dumpster. and i have this scratch along my bumper. how big is the still rear valance? does it just attach to the bottom of the bumper, or does it replace the bumper? i was thinking about getting it anyways, and if that solves both of my problems, woot!
thanks

oh god bumper used to have s shltload of those cheese grater marks all over it. people cannooooooooot parallel park i swear. i got a new bumper and enjoyed a nice clean bumper for a while. i just discovered another mark yesterday! argh!!!!!!

i would think you have to sand it down, and repaint, clear coat, etc.

Re: I need help......screwed my bumber up

the correct way of fixing it is to sand and repaint the damaged portion....a guy from Dent Pro said that they are able to rematch the color and air brush it (happened to me before, someone hit the corner of my rear bumper and took the paint off.) But I wont trush any air brushed work....they can be good...but you still can tell.

but hey, it is on the bottom.....can't really see it.

i thought about that! but the stillen aero attaches to the existing bumper. if i got the sarona kit it'd be a complete bumper replacement. dunno if i want that kit though....

heh.

Big scratch as well as there being a crack in the bottom... How much does this cost to replace?
