want help with mods

I'm wanting to start putting mods into my 98 Maxima SE and I have no automoive experience and absolutely no clue what I am doing. Right now, I'm living in Western Pennsylvania, so I have little access to shops that contibute to customization, so I would have to install everything myself. I have already replaced my stock tails with Altezzas and put in clear corners and I'm wondering what should happen next. PLEASE HELP!

check some of these sites:

http://www.maximadriver.com/
http://www.custommaxima.com/

You have to decide if you are going with performance mods, handling mods, eye candy mods, etc. Then narrow your seach to those catagory specific items.

Me, I'm all show and no go. Most here are all about how much more horse power they can get and how many milliseconds they shaved off their 1/4mile time.

Hope that helped.

Y-pipe, Rear Anti-Sway Bar, CAI or Pop Charger, Short Throw Shifter.

Those are fairly cheap and give a noticable benefit in some way or another.

The Y-pipe is probably the best hp/per$$ mod you can get. Go visit the sites that GaMax97GLE suggested. Maximadriver will give you an idea of what you can do to your car and how to do it, and Custommaxima is where you can buy most of the stuff from.

Spend some time here reading......

Spend some time here reading and you will find a ton of information. Most of the guys here won't steer you wrong and they will never tell you to search... .

Look at soem of the sticky's at the top of each forum. These will contain most of the repetitive questions asked here when people are newer to the site.
Most of your answers will be here.
Keep in mind, when you throw out a general question you will just get some opinions.

If you want facts do alot of reading!!

Good luck, this site is great!

Performance Mods rating 1 to 5 (5 highest)

y pipe 5 You will be a BEAST! Contain your FURY...

CAI 4.5 Growl,Growl looks cool when Hood is up...

Cat Back 3 Looks cool, loud...won't really FEEL it..

High Flow CAT 1 Helps the drone, nice shop talk...

UDP 2 Feels smoother, get annodized blue or red...

Cheap MODS: FUEL FILTER CHANGE, Thottle body cleaning, New Plugs NGK's only, Transmission flush....These are the cheapest but for some reason you can slightly tell a difference.

Use the SEARCH......Luke....May the SEARCH be with you.
