removing rear stop lamp lens

anyone have instructions on removing the rear stop lamp assembly, I dropped something in there, and I cant get it out. I also want to take a look at a few things while I am in there.

uhhhh...I think you're on your own there bud. By the way, how the hell did you drop something in there? Drop a screw or bolt or something?

shouldn't the entire taillight assembly be sealed tight to begin with? I'm not sure.

well the tail lights are sealed. but if your talking about dropping down by the bulbs ive done that, just pull the carpet up and find it pop out a few of those plastic thingys too

when I was changing bulbs, i dropped something in there.

acctually its quite simple to remove the tail lights but it takes some strenth. If you take out the bulb box and look under the trunk carpet you will see acouple of nuts that attach to the tail light. Once you have taken them all off, you need to pull really hard on the tail light. Now its gonna be really hard to pull off because of the black sealer but they will come off. It will be kind of messy. Hopefully this should solve your problem.

92GXE, touring wing, 18” racing wheels, Port&Polished intake, custom intake, custom yellow interior, racing seats, back seats taken out and replaced with subs and amps, NOS kit, Suspension tech. Lowering springs, custom grille, soon to be custom painted and have the whole engine rebuilt for big shot NOS and custom SC and tranny converted to 5-speed.

It is going to be really messy, all that black stuff if weatherstripping and its packed on good. I had to replace my left tail light completed.
