acctually its quite simple to remove the tail lights but it takes some strenth. If you take out the bulb box and look under the trunk carpet you will see acouple of nuts that attach to the tail light. Once you have taken them all off, you need to pull really hard on the tail light. Now its gonna be really hard to pull off because of the black sealer but they will come off. It will be kind of messy. Hopefully this should solve your problem.
