Unorthodox Pulley Group Deal
Unorthodox Pulley Group Deal
I am trying to gauge the interest in a group deal for the Unorthodox pulley set for the Max. Should be all 5th gener's. Maybe more years. Let me know if you are interested and I will gather some numbers and try to find a deal.

Good luck, gt1380a. Others have tried to put together group deals on UDPs in the past and Unorthodox Racing has been less than generous with their discounts. But you know what they say. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
:o)
I definately want one but a.) For a 4th gen. and b.) For a SuperCharged 4th gen. I have been speaking to Shawn at UR for a month or so and he says in mid-June, they will have a stock diamter, lightened pulley. That is the one I would like, if possible. Thanks.

Not to bust anyones bubble, but i used to have Unorthodox racing pulleys on my 96 mazda protege.
I had nothing but problems with them, in that the belt would always squeal and snap. I used to replace belts every three weeks. No other accessories were problem matic as all were easily spun by hand. I got rid of the car now so i never really figured out why it was happening but i was going on the reasoning that it might be that the UDP were a little out of alignment..

we are the buyer, we have the money, we should hold the power. UR should be begging us to buy stuff from them. They should be delighted that we even put our time into looking up their products.

UR's philosophy is simple. If you want to buy a pulley at the price they charge for it, then buy it. Otherwise, go complain to somebody else.
