Prinz, I don't think it's a TSB but a part that Nissan used to use in the 2000 Max and it was removed in the 2001-2002, must likely due to cost savings. It is a hard plastic protector that used to be located in the rear driver side wheel well, to protect the exposed fuel filler tube. Check your car and you'll see the filler tubing exposed and a bracket were this part used to be... I went to Glendale Nissan to get it. I asked the SM and he looked at me like "WTF is this guy talking about?". Then, he asked one of the techs to go and check another 2k2. Of course, it did not have it either and he gave me the "None of the new Maximas in the lot have it. You don't need it. And if it was a part in the 2000 Maxima, it doesn't fit yours"
OK, whatever

There are brackets that actually mount the cover, look under the wheel well and behind the tire, you will see them. That is how the cover is mounted. My dealer ordered the part and installed it no prob or questions. The cars on the lot did not have it. I think it helps alot in dirty conditions, plus protects the gas filler.
