Anybody have a Black SE with Black Leather?

I am thinking about trying to catch a deal on a 2002 towards the end of the model year when dealers are trying to get rid of them.

I can't decide on the color combination. I love the Super Black exterior and also would like to try the Black leather interior. Is this too much black? I've never seen one like this in person or even up close in a pic.

I know it would be hot as in the summer down here in South GA but I could probably deal with it.

If you could get the Glacier Pearl with Black Leather I would consider that but I don't think you can according to Nissan's website.

Got that too. Never was my choice to have an all black car in Texas, but it all pans out: got covered parking @ work and a nice clean garage @ home.

I have black on black here in Atlanta. Its hot! It looks nice yes.. but I wouldn't do it again. I have thought about getting seat covers etc, but then that defeats the purpose of the side air bags. I bought the car over a year ago in CT where the climate is cooler. My father has the frost interior in his Max and its 100x cooler.

This is probably a different thread, but I tested a black on black leather, and I really dont like the Max's leather. It's very textured, almost like a cheap football or something. I tried a few and they all felt like that. Does this wear out or something and soften up? I had an ES300 before the max, and I found that leather to be just exceptional in comparison. Not that a nissan should have lexus quality leather anyway. Just a question for everyone.

i have black on black leather with 35% tint all around. i only had the tint on my car for a week before i hit a deer (and havent gotten the car back yet) but for the short time i had the tint i feel like it made a big difference. my old car is/was black on grey cloth and it got hotter than hell. with the tint, my new car didnt get anywhere near as hot as my old on did. so if heat is an issue, get your windows tinted a little bit.

Yes the tint is a good suggestion. I have 20% all around (except windshield) and it helps. However the car will still get hot.
