Best Tires...
Hey guys it's new tire time (good ole Z's last SO LONG as we all know). I have the Falken GRB's right now, but they weren't all too impressive. Any recommendations on what and where I should by a new set? I'm looking for longetivity/comfort over performance and need them in a 225/45/17 size. I wanna spend $120-$200/tire. I don't wanna mess up and get poor tires again, so PLEASE help. Thanks !
Purchased Yokohama Avid tires a little while back and am very pleased with them. Quiet comfortable ride, excellent handling and good wet traction. Just drove 550 miles this past weekend and they performed superbly! Lots of rain on the way back and no problems at all. Will definitely stick with Yokohamas! $54.00 on Tirerack - received them in three days at my front door.

I went ahead and got the Sumitomo HR+'s after some research. They are not as good performers as others, BUT they have a 360treadwear rating and will be more comfortable than a more Maximum performance tire. Cross my fingers and hope these suckers live long and prosper. Thanks for the help everyone !
