A buddy of mine owns a 1984 porsche 911 targa. the only mod he has on the car is a hollowed out cat. he's always bugging me to race him. so a couple of weeks ago, i raced him when my car was totally stock except for my 17 inch enkei's. we raced from a standstill to about 120 mph on a straight country road. he beat me off the line but i started to catch up to him. anyway, he beat me by about 2 car lenghts. now, i added a stillen intake,y-pipe, rt cat, and a apexi catback. my car is a 5-speed and i know that i can give him a much better race. a stock 911 can do 60 in about 6 seconds and the quarter in about 14.5. do you guys think i can beat him? oh yeah, he's also a pretty good driver with a stick.

 

all you can do is give it your best shot...it'll probably be close...how good are you with your 5 spd?

His car had the cat hollowed out when i first raced him. i'm going to give my car and ecu a couple of weeks to get used to the new mods before i race him. hopefully, i'll win!

 

hey man, i just looked at your sig and i saw you have the Enkei CDR9s, i've been looking into those for a while, still debating on whether i wanna get them or not...how do you like them? what size and tires you got? also, you have any pics of them on your max? 97 black max, i had the same problem as you did. it took me forever to decide whether i wanted the CDR9's. i was stuck between the mille miglia evo and ekei rse. but i'm glad that i got the CDR9's. they look tight on a black max. i don't have any pictures yet but i can tell you to go to www.cardomain.com/id/beggy. he's got cdr9's on his ride. as for tires, i have nitto extreme 225/50/r17. i just need some more cash to get some lowering springs and new struts
