Warpspeed t304 ss TIG welded y-pipe
does anyone have the warpspeed mandrel bent tig welded y-pipe for a '98 i30t or max? what are the real gains of having this and nothing else done yet to my ride except the anticipation of mods soon to come? please don't tell me to search the forum because i have and i have heard that a ypipe isn't worth it unless you have an intake too. i am planning on getting an intake soon but i just want to know before i spend $300 on a pipe. thanks
I have one one my 95 Max. The only other mod I have is a Pop intake. Together they made a big difference. The car feels more spirited and above 3000 rpm is where the most difference is felt. Probably adds .5 in the 1/4 mile? Supposedly one of the biggest bangs for your buck Y + intake. You'll see the diff in shape and weight when you install the new Y pipe. The WSPD is a featherweight compared to stock. My fit was good as well. No complaints.
