Wanted to know if all the 96-99 i30s had tilted front headrests? thanks for responses.

i have a 1997 I30 with a beige interior with the adjustable and titlable headrests...

 

My mom's 96 I30 with black leather interior has the front tiltable headrests as well

 

Will that part fit into our maximas?

i don't think they will...when i was lookin at my mom's I30, the holes for the headrest are a little bigger...my max's holes are just the right size for the straight pole

 

i was wrong, I just went down to the garage and took off my mom's headrests and put them on my max, fit perfectly and it tilts ...too bad her interior is black and mine is tan, no switcheroo

 

hmm no i gotta find out how much its costs... or goto the junk yard if i'm lucky...

 

the back ones do too. And yes I love my head rests...

 

does anyone know if i30s ever came in cloth rather than leather? If there are cloth beige headrests, i'd surely get them.

Are the rear and fronts identical? I would like to get one for my 95SE driver's seat. I think some junkyards do not want to sell you just the front headrest but the entire seat. Even so, slim pickings in my area... Anyone know an online used parts dealer? I tried car-parts but they only have the whole seat assembly.

 

My 96 i30 is cloth AND has front and rear tilts....oh, it also has a 5spd with VLSD!
