Regarding Clear Tail Inserts
OK, here is the verdict. I did my tails and it wasnt fun. You must be very patient and calm to do this. If you break stuff easily don't try it. As far as cutting the lenses, I need to have a spare tail to test fit each one before I sell them. I am looking for someone that has an old tail from a 4th gen and then I will start selling them. Its not as easy as tracing a template and shipping them off. I needed to grind them a bit with the Dremel after I cut em. I will keep you guys updated and I am also thinking of trying it out with the 95's. Check out my tails.

and it's not possible for the 95/96 since the amber is a part of the actual lense, not removable like 97-99...95/96 can only be done by getting all clears and painting bottom red
I think you should definetely do this. If the price is right, and you do a good job cutting them out, I know a lot of people would buy them, including myself. I don't have a spare tail for you though, but I think you should definetely go ahead with this plan.
