So i got a question about back pressure

besides the exhaust what else can help in producing back pressure?
and what other methods will help increase the torque?

I think you mean Reducing back pressure not producing.

The exhaust system itself is enough backpressure relief. Any more loss of back pressure and you'll have a very weak low end power.

nope i mean producing it.
Cuz i was talking to someone and he said that he has a 3.5 exhuast pipe, and he still have plenty back pressure. So i was wondering what else could produce back pressure besides the exhuast.

Ok, you were talking to someone and they said they have a 3.5 exhaust and still have backpressure...what does he drive? a damn truck? Does he feel the need for a 4" exhaust to help relieve even more backpressure?

3.5" echaust system and still has plenty back pressure on an NA engine?

Thats a full 1 inch more than the 2.5 everyone gets. You need tell your friend to come on here so he can get flamed.

tell your friend to produce some dyno plots showing the low end power he says it still has.
otherwise, he doesn't know what he's talking about. (which I still claim).

and nothing else can "produce" back pressure other than restrictions in the flow. i.e. cat, muffler, exhaust piping.
