ok here a question who do u let drive ur car? anybody? nobody? just some food for thought!



personally as of rite now i let my dad, my girlfriend, and my best friend... to me it seems like alot but after i get my coilovers, rims, and body kit there will be only 1 person driving it ME!!!!

 

i'll let my parents drive it, considering it's their car and their insurance and i'm only 16, so i don't have much say anyway

 

oh yeah i also let my cousin drive my car no matter what as long as he allows me to drive his '91 300zxTT with 600+ hp!

 

ill let my pops since it was his car. just hope he doesnt smack speedbumps and other stuff thatll wack my suspension.
let my bro drive it since he has a lowered camry.

ive let my girl ..once..around the block. just to see how well she drives the 5 speed.

 

My dad(once), My brother(once), this one girl home from the bar(I was drunk). That's it Usually me and only me.

 

Only me...and 'sometimes' my fiance. But most of the time we drive in our truck.

the only people that i have ever let drive my car were my father, older brother, younger brother, g/f's brother and father, and my uncle. no one else has driven it.

 

i guard the car from my big daddy like gold...even though its his and im only 16 and he pays half insurance and owns the car ive let my best friend drive it a couple times - hes the only one that doesnt drive like a sideshow freak of my friends lol

 

I don't like anyone driving my car, but me. But i let my dad and my brother drive it before. And my friend once, only because i was drunk and puking out of my car, and i still didn't want him to drive, but somehow he ended up driving

I let anybody drive it that asks (of course not complete strangers though). I figure nobody can drive my car as hard or put it through as much misery or abuse as I can.

I let close friends drive the car or people i trust WITH my car (not many) and i'm always sittin rite next to em!! hehe

My dad I let him drive it... just make sure to warn him about scraping and bending rims... so it ends up he doesnt drive my car... and thats it... would i let my gf drive the car? if she pushed the issue maybe but... she'd have to push it pretty hard I'd just play dodgy.. like ok sure... and then never get around to lettin her drive hehe

Only my wife, I let my bro and my mom move it out of my driveway if they need to. Otherwise it's a no touch deal.

 

I let the previous owner drive it....Before I bought my Max. I think that was more than enough 'other people'. And considering that I've never met him/her before means that I'll never have to let them drive it again...

 

Only people that drive my max are me and my girlfriend...well and my dad, but thats only when i leave for basic in the fall. My girl can drive it really well so sometimes i let her take it by herself and dont worry about it.

 

true most of u guys/girls let ur parents drive ur car i say f*** thaqt bc they would find a reason to break it so that i couldnt drive "my baby" or work with her!

i put a kill switch in a very secret location! and they have no clue wher eit is!!! lol

That's it. I would probably let a few of my good friends that are veteran manual drivers take it around for a bit. My rule is no girls behind the wheel, after I've ridden with a few that drive a stick. Not unless they can prove themselves to me by busting some professional stunt-driver style moves in a torquey rwd manual or something!

 

Unless I have witnessed their inability to control a vehicle under normal circumstances, I don't see why not. After all, it is only a Maxima...not a 800bhp touring car.

I pay for my car -- every month -- and no one is helping me, so, NO ONE DRIVES MY CAR...which is funny, because, I've driven ALL of my friends cars, but, no one can touch my car!

After I got my "B" pipe and rear free flow muffler Maxie barks really loud. With the hi Flow K&N intake she talks even louder. My wife and other family members pass on any offer I make to "Awwww go ahead, take the max.." I especially worry about curbing my Momo's. You know what I mean.

 

I'm currently the driver of my '98 SE, but I'm cautious (or I make exceptions) on the following who I let drive it...

- My mom (she'll put bad gas, happened when I gave her my Altima & my SE.. I strictly use Amoco 93 in my SE)
- My oldest sister (she'll rag on it like she did when she had her '97 SE)
- My brother (After all, it was his car, I should let him drive it when he wants even though he now has an '02 Passat, one time he drove my Altima and caused the SES light to come on)
- My other sister (Supposedly she said the radio and clock didn't work when her and my mom drove my SE, but since then I've had no problems so I'm cautious on giving my SE to her)
- My G/F (If I do have a g/f, of course I'll let her drive it, as long as she's gentle w/ it)
- My friends (same scenario as my oldest sister)
