is a Group Buy for a NEW set of Max Speed springs that have become quite
popular as of the recent months. You should only post if you want to buy,
have questions and ONLY if you have a 4th Gen.

This Group Deal will run
on the following info:
$85.00 plus shipping and handling.

I reccomend these springs i got in on the second group deal a while back and just installed them with kyb gr2....the drop is nice and i am satified with them.... I receive the springs shortly after the deal was over..over all i was pleased.

I got my springs now for my 4th gen, but have decided to go for Groundcontrol coilovers now. They are brand new in sealed original package. I do not want to lose money on this. If someone wants there ASAP, I will ship ASAP. So if you want to pay a little more and get them now let me know. $110 plus shipping.

I'm in on the deal too, and I would LOVE it if the springs showed up this week, but like Wizza said, patience.

although it would've been nice if he answered the question when he wrote back

 

I'm not in much of a hurry for the springs. I'm looking for a status. My Paypal payment was accepted on 6/7. The close date was 6/10. And the expected ship time was 1 to 1.5 weeks after the close date, which is basically today.

I'm not a big fan of having my money tied up with someone who cannot meet their obligations.

That's it. Simple.

 

Hey! Whats all that about?
I have to give Wizza and the Volkscafe guy some credit. I was in on the last group deal and my order was skipped somehow(payment got lost). On top of that, my springs were sold and no more were available until 2 weeks later.
However, volkscafe offered to ship them 2 day air as soon as he got them. I was going on a cruise that week so I asked for a refund, which was paid back directly.
Long story short, I am in this group deal and I am confident I will receive my springs. Overall, good guys, but it does take alot to sort through all those orders and such.

I asked for a status on 6/11. Volkscafe replies with "go back and look at the first thread..."

I asked for a status on 6/19 (9 days after the deal closed and right at the time they said they'd ship) and Wizza replies with "be patient"

I'm just looking for a status. That's all. Yet I get these cryptic replies. If you take the time to reply, why not just reply with a legit answer? And quite frankly, I don't know these guys. It's good to hear that you do.

Okay, simply put...if you followed all of the instructions and can claim that you received a Group Deal number from Lee, and you know payment has been received, then you can rest assured that you are in the purchase. The tracking numbers will be provided by Lee as always so you can as well be confident in your transaction...if you notice from teh preious GD on these...it does take a few days to a couple weeks to get the details with all buyers sorted out...the responsibility lies with the seller "Lee" to arrange the best schedule for shipping and he has done well in every other opportunity to keep people informed.

Do not fret about it as I am confident you are being well taken care of with regards to the most recent Group Deal.

they came pretty damn quick, i wasnt expecting them for another 2-3 weeks at least.

but to the rest of you guys:
Please be patient, Volkscafe is in CALIFORNIA, so thats probably why it will take some time to get to you, im in cali and I got them pretty quick.

Your springs are most likely on their way if you have paid or made arrangements to pay

Thank I just got my springs right now. I was wondering if these would fit a 5th gen because I might be selling my car to get a 5th gen.

Jime dam for an auto your spanking lot stick max. What is your serect? i have an 95se auto. Lol the NOS must really help uh. I want a nos system 2. But im not down with a wet system. Im looking to get a dry system but I want dual stage. I was wondering if you know if that is possible.

 

I just took out my dry system for the NX wet and its just super. Took me from 13.68 to 13.12 real quick. On Sat I ran my first run N/A and ran a 15.7, 13 mins later I ran again, only change was the button on the steering wheel and I ran a 13.12.

I will never use dry again as far as I am concerned wet is just as easy to install, easier to setup and a no brainer ie just made for me. All the BS about the wet system and puddling etc is NOS propaganda, although it is true when applied to a NOS wet system.

Wet is so much easier because it runs at stock fuel pressure, don't have to worry about boosting up to 85+ psi and if the injectors will lock up.

If I find I need more traction I may go to a dual stage but as far as I know I have the fastest 60' for any Max stick or auto, so don't think I am going there yet.

NX has a gizmo called a maximizer that allows you to call your shot, shift points etc etc and my Son has one coming for his Direct Port setup so I just may try it out. You put in like a 150 shot jet and then tell it what you want and when and it does it all for you.

From what I have heard about the wet system is that stuff starts breaking after a while. I just wanted dual stage of like 25 shot each. I heard u have to change the manifold and get forged pistons if i run a 50 shot or higher or with a wet system. just trying to learn more on nitrous.

 

Don't believe everything you read on here. Anything will break if you apply enough power to it. I am running a 125 wet shot with stock internals, stock transmission and suspension.

I also have the fastest 60' time for any Maxima stick or auto and I didn't get it listening to all the advice from the org. If you listen and follow everything you read you will always be in the back seat. Drag racing is like having a dog sled team, if your not the lead dog the scenery never changes.

 

I got my springs today, whooha. I will post pics before/after install.

 

yo man i dont know if you guys that have gotten your springs checked it out yet. because i took out my springs to look at them and seem like one of them were scuffed up. i haven't taken a closer look at all of them yet.
