110mph on 65mph ticket, how to avoid insurance cost increase?

Driving from Chicago to Indianapolis, I65 South. Got charged with 31mph and over, over the speed limit. Any way to avoid this getting on my record? I have an Indiana drivers license.

It was a fun but costly drive Just before getting on I65, i was driving on I90 alongside two brand new Z's - no license plates. Then, on I65, this guy in a brand new Camry wouldn't back off. I stepped on it in fourth and before I knew it I couldn't even see him in my rear view I know, it's just a Camry, no big deal. The only reason I'm mentioning is that right after losing this guy, as I was slowing down, i noticed the cop on the median behind some trees... Good thing I was slowing down

Anyway, I'll pay for the ticket, but I really hate what will happen to my driving record. This is my second speeding violation in under 6 months too;( Any advise appreciated. Thanks,

Nic

Hire a lawyer. Intial costs might be the same but in the long run, it's cheaper(provided the lawyer can get the ticket thrown out)

If you just pay the ticket, your insurance will most certianly go up.

25 miles over the speed limit constitutes wreckless driving here in Utah. They usually don't budge on something that high over the posted limit... Get a part time job, because an insurance hike may be inevitable...

I can't think of any reson that any lawer could throw out that ticket I was all alone on the highway. The policemen clocked me twice - he told me. He used laser, from what i understood. His second clock, and the one he used, was 96mph - i was braking hard! Anyway, how soon do you think the insurace hike - i'm already paying a lot.
