Is there any difference between the two engines with the exception of the design and location of Intake. does anyone has specs for comparison purposes.

Thanks Brian. I wasn't sure. I recently bought a factory manual from ebay for 1994 and was not sure whether it will work on my car. I also have a Nissan pickup that has the same engine.

Not a problem. From everything I've heard from being on the list for 4 years, I've never read anything that eluded to the fact that there were any differences in the VG engine in the 89 - 94 Max.
