well guys i have to change my shocks. I am looking for something as close to stock as possible (dont really care about the performance aspect). Also i was looking for something that wont break the bank. What do you guys suggest?

 

get some kyb either the agx or gr2
and keep the stock springs

I have a 97 GXE and I replaced all four corners with OEM Nissan struts because I don't have any mods and have a stock suspension. The original struts lasted 90,000 miles and the dealer was some of the cheapest I could find. The struts were only $97.00 a piece and were slightly firmer than the ones I replaced. Ride quality was primary deciding factor. I hate a noisy and stiff ride. Performance struts would amplify any squeaks that I have in the car.

 

I got AGX and HR springs, love the combo..

 

stock ones are .... well, stock. but why buy stock when GR2 only cost bit more than $200. GR2 are comparable or even better than stock ones.
