Autolite Titanium Plugs?

Ok, I know that NGK platinums are the way to go, but I can't justify $60 on Sparkplugs right now, so I am looking at alternatives.

I was at my local parts house and they showed Autolite Titaniums, the best autolite plug available, as an OEM plug for Nissan. They also said that that is the best plug they have for the money.

Any body used these? What the difference REALLY be? Besides saveing me ~$30!

Don't get anything other than NGK. I think I've tried them all...

Go for the NGK regular plugs then if you want to save some $$$$. They'll still last 30k and should be way cheaper...

I got a price on them a few years ago. I just checked NGK's website though and you're right it doesn't seem like they make them anymore....

They were like $3 or $4 if memory serves....

oh well...

Re: Autolite Titanium Plugs?

$60 may be alot compared to other plugs, but it is also 60,000 miles of guarrantied spark and reliability if you put NGK Plats in your Maxima. You won'y have to think about them for quite a while.

Stick with the NGK platinums, they work best in the MAX. You know some of the parts for the Max can be high but sometimes its worth it!

You're only asking for trouble if you put any plugs other than the NGK's. Why not spend the extra money and save yourself from any possible breakdowns?
