If u want some off road action. I think their new goal is to move into SUV industry...but kinda late for it.

Yeah, exactly. They seem to be quitting on reasonble priced sports cars. The Prelude is addleged to make a return as the Accord coupe, but it wont be the same. RSX-S vs ITR....dont get me started.

Ah. Russ. Again, how did you think you got such a good deal on your CL? Because everyone was lining up out of the dealership door waiting to buy one? And resale on the CLs is not as good as the TLs. I see them discounted pretty far in my area. Thousands less than the same year TL.

I don't see resale getting hurt at all. Preludes haven't, they are still hot selling car even used.

By the way, why did Toyota discontinue the Supra? Did they think the the Echo would be a sufficient replacement?

i'll take my comment away if its going to start a flame war
Yes Preludes resale is great especially the 97-01's, 97's and 98's from personal sellers are still quit ea bit. Actaully the Cl wasnt their best seller the TL/S is. Honda needs to let the Lude rest in Peace as it went out with a great looking car especially the SH.

Or just marry a nice guy who has toys like a Stook, etc. who is itching to spend money on her.....
I'm not surprised. The luxury coupe market in the US is extremely small, and apparently Acura sold as many TL's in one month as they did CL's all year
That will make the 03 CL-S 6spd a very nice collector's edition to an otherwise nice car that's just short 2 doors *cough*TL-S 6spd Acura do you hear me?*cough*
Russ? This is your last chance.

Hmm I guess that explains the point of my post Russ. That the CLs are NOT holding their resale value in the used market. Clearouts don't explain the poorer resale values on used CLs. Call it what you wish.

Whatever. Funny because 25k is RETAIL on an used CL from the DEALER. So I guess they are selling it for exactly what they buy it for?
That means private resale is even lower. I saw a 99' cl for $16,xxx
http://classifieds.nwsource.com/auto...=f&order=model
yeah some are really high but the vast majority are just at 25k.

From what I read in the MT article, it seems that the 2dr. coupe market isn't very strong in the US. Go figure...
