ACT Street Clutch Sale!

I am selling the ACT Street Clutch set up for $330 plus shipping. For those who are interested this is part # NM1-HDMM, this is the street kit not the 6 puck kit. I have currently 6 kits left, the kit includes the street disc, pressure plate, pilot bearing, alignment tool ect...and they are ready to ship. This kit will fit 4th & 5th Gen Maximas. i was under the impression that 4th gen and 5th gen clutches were a little bit different...hmmm...

I actually have this clutch on my car right now, it holds amazing...I thought the same thing until I called ACT and they said that the clutch will be a perfect fit for the 5th gen...someone else on the board sent in their stock clutch and asked ACT to make them a clutch and they sent him this one....by the way congrats on MOTM on 5thgenmaximax.com

I am trying to verify this, since the 2k2 are so new we dont have that much feedback on this. I posted a thread with this question in this forum to see if anyone can compare the two clutches. As soon as I can confirm this I will let you know.

Is this the stage two kits from ACT? I've heard great things about ACT from my Altima friends. How about a trade for a centerforce??? Nah I know you'll never go for it.

i highly doubt that it will fit since its a different engine

Dont worry Will , Im gonna see if someone has a spare 2k2 clutch and if they want to send it to me, then I will send it ACT and tell them that Ill buy 10 kits from them so they make the clutch. Soon as I have more info on this I will contact you. Thanks and sorry it didn't fit.

Well for starters, an aftermarket clutch like the ACT can with hold over 370lbs of torque where a stock clutch would never do.. Much stronger engagements means better power to the wheels.

HELL YEAH! i am definately puttin some money away for the clutch! is there any possible way that u could find a company that would make a flywheel? the parts guy started laughing when he looked at the 2k2 flywheel he said that it is really wierd looking its not just a solid piece of metal! please keep me updated! thanks man!

let me talk to the dealership where i have lots of friends and see if they would give u a clutch and flywheel. i am serious they carry stillen parts in the parts department and are equiping 3.5l altimas with stillen exhuast before they even hit the lot to be sold! i will really have to sit down with them and see. if they seem to consider i would like to contact u so we could talk to them! thanks for going our of your way for us 2k2s man!

This is what happened to me a long time ago,..go into your "Profile" then go to "edit options" then scroll down to where it says "Default Thread View" and change it to "show all threads" and wha-la 70somthing PM will appear...lol then delete away Let me know if that worked..
