my car has rough idle when air conditoner is on...any suggestions?

my car has rough idle when air conditoner is on...any suggestions?

i cleaned throttle body recently and for some reason my idle is like shaky when i put on air conditioner...i don't know why...any suggestions?

TPS switch? Transaction Processing Systems? u talking about cars or information systems?

i dont' know what that is....

TPS is throttle position sensor.

it could be that a wire is broken in the main harness that wraps around the top of the engine. this wire that could be broken is what tells the iacv the ac is on and to kick up the idle about 100 rpms to prevent the engine from stalling from the increased strain on the motor. check to make sure that your idle actually does kick up a bit as you hit the "auto" button or (on manual CC) the A/C button.
