motor trend just did a writeup of the ser, gti, focus, and civic(?). well..it was four or five cars all in the same price/power range. the ser was the only one that got an over A+ on its report card. the gti came in second..dont remember what the others did. you should check it out.

I was talking to someone on here early that has a SE-R and he said he got a 15.4 out of it and could have gotten a 15.3 with a better launch.

my buddy's ran a 15.4 after 3 tries(one was as high as a 16.9 )....he tells me its a ***** to launch and one his first run he ran through 1st and 2nd on the line, tires spin like crazy...but the car definently has *****. I think Emax said he has heard of some in the low 14's with ONLY full bolt-ons!!! good car, if in the market I would consider it!

this is prolly a silly question, but do you think a 2002 max could toast a 2002 se-r vspec?

well the rear suspension sucks. I don't have an se-r, but I've got a se 2.0 sentra. The rear suspension gets very nervous over slightly bumpy roads. Making it very difficult to control sometimes. Interior materials leave much to be desired. On hot or cold days the interior can sound like a bowl of rice krispies.

Oh it doesn't have an Sr20de in it, it has a truck motor....

i hear a lot of good things about the spec-v. i have a 92 se-r and i think thats the ****e. if i were looking for a small 4-door under $20k, the se-r spec-v would probably definately be my choice. go test drive one.

my buddy has one. if we go from a stop, my max owns him. you hear him shifting lol. BUT, if it's out of a bend, where i'm in 2nd, I'm geared real long, and he always has a gear. ticks me off!
