best way to launch on auto?

i know there arent many ways, but what has been the most proven way to launch the fastest on automatic?

I think the best way to launch is to keep in it drive with OD on and put your left foot on the brake hard. Rev up between 1500 and 2000 rpms and keep doing it until the light or whatever signals to go. Then take your foot off the brake and mash the gas and that should give a good launch

i dont kno if my car is weird or not but if i hold my brake with the left foot and floor it the car will rev to bout 2000 rpms and then jus let go of the brake when its time 2 go
u have to hold the brake pretty hard

Why would you want OD on??? Turn off OD so that you can get more power out of your first 3 gears. When you get around 80, switch OD on, left off the gas for just a little bit and youll be in 4th.

no, od is like fourth gear lock out. it doesn't allow the tranny to shift from 3rd to 4th.
