ATTN guys with NOS....Where to mount the bottle

Im buying a 60 shot setup from nos, kit 05124 i think. Im looking to have kind of a hidden setup with a small bottle so i dont spend $40 a week on a 10 lb bottle. 1st of all how long would the 1 or 2 pound bottle last me? and second, if its small enough, could i mount the bottle in the armrest compartment (would that be safe?) and put the arming switch in the cup holder area? Im looking for some opinions thats all. THANKS!

dont know much about NOS myself, but just some general ideas.....i dont think they make small enuff bottles to fit in the armrest thing, so there goes your idea....what you can do is maybe put it in you trunk under the carpeting, where your spare goes, and just take out your spare ( who needs it anyway ).....just get a remote bottle opener, and that should be all set.....most Nitrous systems automatically come with a 10 pound bottle, so i dunno, maybe you can sell it and get a smaller one....or you can go F+F style, and put it under your seat?? like i said i dunno much, so please enlighten me and the other dude...kthx

Few things...a 1 or 2 lb bottle is a waste...

It will not fit in the armrest...

You need to figure extra room for the line to run to the bottle and you need some space to screw it to the bottle...so for example if the bottle is 10x10 you need atleast 12x12 space...or whatever you need to screw the bottle in with your hands.

You can fit a bottle in your wheel well, but if you don't get a remote opener, you'll have to run to your trunk to open and close it.

As far as the bottle in the car, well you can't race on a track legally like that, but as far as safety, I wouldn't do it, but I (and most people) have a nitrous gauge which is nitrous running into the car so its still there either way...I just wouldn't like the full bottle so close to me...

I have to agree that a 1 or 2 pound bottle will be a waste..you might get like 3-5 runs if that many...Get the 10lb bottle and have a custom install in the trunk where it looks nice and clean and safe. If you worry about opening it while on the road then go to your nearest performance shop and buy the NX Remote bottle opener so if you need to run it its just a button away, and if you get pulled over for whatever reason and the bottle is open then hit the switch and its closed and they cant say anything...cause if they catch you with an open bottle..Tow Truck!
