I'm looking to get a NX nitrous kit and cant figure out which kit # to get. What else do i need w/ the kit besides the gauges? I think that im gonna go on e-bay and see what i can find. I just want to make sure that im getting the right parts for the J.O.B.. I had a good feel for what i needed w/ the 5124 NOS kit but after some extensive research it seems that the NX kit is far superior to the NOS kit. So, i guess that im going to go with a wet kit, not a dry kit.

P.S. I'm looking for a 50 shot at first but would like to kick it to a 75 or 100 in a few months.

 

Don't get it from Ebay. Stick with a vendor that will give you some support if you are missing parts or need some technical advice. For NX, go with this vendor. His price is fair and he knows what he's talking about.

Oh.. what is considered a Fair price for this kit? Should I be looking for the NX Import Wet Kit, or the Generation X kit?

 

That kit is the 20923 Import Kit and is the one I have. I think the price is pretty good. The Gen X, Gen X2 and 3 are just upgrades to the basic setup and sold separately depending on how many goodies you think you need. It is just as easy to install and tune as the NOS kit I just removed. Only diff on the install is that you have to put a hookup to the fuel line but you have to do that anyway if you are installing the fuel pressure switch so no extra work at all.
The support is top notch I spent 45 mins on the phone yesterday getting info and chatting, they really know their stuff.
The other great thing is that the solenoids are lifetime guaranteed (hear that NOS) you can even send them in every year and they will rebuild and return, all you pay is the postage.
They do recommend going two steps colder on the plugs and don't run platinum. They only supply up to 75 HP because they want you to call tech if you are going higher so they can inform you on what you need to do, ie fuel pump etc to go to the higher HP's.

I must say that i really appreciate all of your help! Even w/ a lot of research, there are still plenty of last minute questions before actually purchasing a kit.

So, all that i really need after purchasing this kit for $485 shipped would be, a fuel pressure gauge, fuel pump (if i want a 75 shot or greater), bottle heater, T-valve (that goes into fuel line???), and where should i go to get a good window switch? Anything else?

The others are not for imports and you will have to buy a bunch of extra stuff if you get them.
