Errr..

How much money are you looking to spend? =P

Cheap (500-2000) - NOS.

Expensive (4000-7000) - Supercharger.

Really Expensive (No idea) - Engine Swap w/Turbo =)

Re: Errr..

I would also wonder that with my 18's. The car definitely felt a tad bit luggish. I never really race people, but once someone sees clears and rims, they start revving on you. I would assume you don't a great jump with big, heavy rims.

??????????

I plan on getting 18's for my max but was just wondering if bigger wheels and tires really slow you down that much,i'm more into the looks but also like to show up other cars who sleep on the max.

Re: ??????????

So do a little research on the weight of the rims that you want to purchase. Some are light, while others are pretty heavy (Momo Arrows).

18's

yea, it will definitely ssslllooowww you down but it all boils down to what your after. Looks/speed? I have Konig tantrums 18" and they are light....but still the circum. is too big to get good jumps off the line. What im saying = i shouldn't be racing unless i have more mods!

Get the VB mod.

Anyone with an auto that wants to race needs this mod. I love the way mine shifts now.

Yes...18" might slow you down but the added traction helps too->

I can easily spin the tires on the stock 16. With 235/40ZR18, you will have tons of traction which does help during the launch.
